About the Place
El Milagrito, nestled in the heart of Tulum Centro, is a vibrant culinary gem that perfectly captures the lively spirit of Mexican dining. Located just off the main road at C. Centauro Sur 249, this restaurant offers hearty dishes like fajitas, burritos, and mariscos bursting with authentic flavors. The menu’s standout elements include generous portions that invite sharing and inventive beverages, from expertly crafted margaritas to thoughtfully suggested mezcals for those looking to explore beyond the typical.
What draws me to El Milagrito is not just the quality of the food, which rivals many other local spots, but also its engaging atmosphere. The restaurant’s charm is enhanced by playful touches like swings and a lively ambiance fueled by friendly, approachable staff. There’s a casual comfort here that encourages diners to unwind and savor each bite. Whether you’re curious to try the local delicacy of fried worms that crunch like chips or prefer classic dishes like seafood burritos, El Milagrito delivers a bold, flavorful experience without breaking the bank.
Service can be a bit uneven at times, with some waiting staff needing brisker attentiveness, but the warmth and humor they bring create a welcoming vibe that softens any rough edges. The combination of good value, large portions, and innovative drinks makes El Milagrito a must-visit, especially for those eager to immerse themselves in Tulum’s culinary scene beyond the usual tourist fare. Here, great food meets genuine hospitality in an authentic setting that feels both fresh and rooted in tradition.
“ Just of main road serving good tasting Fajitas Buriotos and more. Quality seemed on par with the competition. Can't go wrong eating here. Atmosphere is similar to other restaurants around. ”
“ Great place. Located around the corner from great nightlife in Tulum spot. Mosquitoes are relentless here and you better be “sprayed up!” Portions are huge. Be prepared to share. Great food, great value and great drinks! Jorge is my guy. ”
“ I don't usually like mezcal but the bartender suggested some that I may like after hearing my preferences and yeh the are definitely some good mezcals out there. Eating the fried worms was good they taste just like chips. The service was good as were the prices. We tested some expensive mezcals by the bill was not too steep ”
“ . When I go out to a restaurant, many things come to my mind. The first thing is the food quality and the second is if the costumer will enjoy the restaurant’s experience. Throughout my life, I have had experiencing different restaurants around, and I can say the experience has not been disappointing……I loved this place. The food was great and cheap, especially for the area. Everything was well cooked and the food filled you up.”“Considering the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, you really get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal without breaking the bank.”went twice see you soon guys…… ”
“ The place is really cute... swings and all. Looked pretty clean. Server needs some work though. I asked for water (for the table) and he only brought me one. We shouldn't have to ask for water in a place as hot as the Mexican jungle. Fruit-water Drinks were delicious but alcoholic drinks were kind of weak- didn't get a buzz at all. Staff was really friendly but kind of slow. There was a lot of food options and everything taste pretty good and looked great too. 2 things- they only gave me like 7 fries and they were cold. But they fixed it so I Would recommend. ”
